What size are the RV sites?

Our RV sites vary in size. The larger RV sites are our full hook-up sites which can easily accommodate big rigs; some of our river front sites will also accommodate RVs 25' or less.

Are the campsites on the river?

Most of our tent camping sites are along the river. Our RV sites along the river have electricity (30/50 amp) and water (no sewer); however, we do have a dump station nearby. Our full hook-up sites (30/50 amp, water and sewer) are within easy walking distance to the river.

What are your rates for camping in summer?

All RV sites are $35 which include a tow vehicle and up to two people. Tent sites vary depending on the number of vehicles & each vehicle is $25. All vehicles include up to two people; each additional person in the vehicle is $10.00 per adult (16+)/per night and $5.00 per child (7-15 yrs)/per night. Additional vehicles for RV/tent are $25 and the same applies as above regarding number of people. Group rates are availble for 40 people or more.. call for details - 830-964-3455.

Are the campsites shaded?

Our tent sites with water and electricity are mostly shaded. Most of our back-in RV sites are shaded, either in the morning and/or afternoon. The pull-thrus are in the sunbathed area.

Do your tent sites have water and electricity?

All of our reservable tent sites now have water and electricity. Our overflow camping is primitive ... there are no amenities.

How large are the tent sites?

Our tent sites vary in size & are anywhere from a one to a four vehicle site.

What are token showers?

In order to preserve our precious water, our showers use tokens to operate. Tokens are purchased at the store for $1 each; each token lasts for about six minutes.

Do you sell firewood?

Firewood can be purchased at our camp store.

Do you allow private equipment in your campground?

We do allow private equipment; however, each individual with private equipment must purchase a shuttle pass before getting into the river in order to board one of our shuttle buses for return to our campground. Please see our private equipment rules for clarification.

Do you rent tubes and/or rafts?

Tubes can be rented for $15 with a bottom; $13 without a bottom and $15 for a tube with cooler. Rafts are $25 per adult. There is also a deposit for each tube/raft but we do allow you to leave your credit card or cash until you return with the equipment. Your cash or credit card for the deposit is returned when the equipment is brought back in good condition on your rental day before the designated time.

Are pets allowed?

Pets are NOT allowed during the summer season (Apr-Sep). During our winter season (Oct-Mar), pets weighing 30 pounds or less are allowed in RVs but must be kept on a leash at all times when outside of your RV. We also ask that you pick up your pet's deposits so other guests may enjoy our clean campground. Pets are not allowed in tents at anytime.

Do you have group rates?

We do offer group rates for 40 or more people. In addition, we do offer special rates for church groups, boy/girl scouts, etc. Please call for details 830-964-3455

What do I do if I arrive after the office is closed?

If you have a reservation with us, there will be a reservation card on the site that you reserved; therefore, please go directly to your site. If you do not have a reservation with us, pick a site that is not occupied and does not have a reservation card. Please come to the office the next morning to pay for your site if someone does not come by to collect.

Do you allow anyone to spend the day at your campground or is it only for campers?

We do allow day camping, Sunday - Thursday, excluding holidays. Fee applies.

What if I have to cancel my reservation?

You can cancel/reschedule your reservation prior to 15 days of your reservation date for a $15.00 fee. However, if you cancel within 14 days of your reservation date, you will be assessed 50% of your reservation amount plus the $15.00 cancellation fee. We do not allow rescheduling of your reservation within 14 days of your reservation date.
